We’re Oleg and Marina — a Ukrainian full-time liveaboard family sailing with our daughter Nika and our son Alex aboard Happy Cat, our Lagoon 450 catamaran. In 2021, after five years of preparation, we left life on land behind to follow the wind and explore the world by sea. It all began in 2016, on a quiet island in Asia, when a sail on the horizon sparked a dream: freedom, simplicity, and a life shaped by the tides. That dream turned into a course — and now it’s our everyday reality.

As sailors, we kept meeting others like us — boat owners looking to share their yachts, travelers searching for the right crew, and people dreaming of a sea escape. But the platforms out there were slow, complicated, and filled with commissions. So, we built CharterBnB: a platform where real people connect directly — to find a yacht, a crew, or their next big trip.
